Press center of RF Defence Ministry says Valentine Pikul mine-sweeper of the Black Sea Fleet has entered the permanent operational formation of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea.
It will replace the Kovrovets mine-sweeper in accordance to the rotation plan. Crew of the Kovrovets ship has been conducting tasks in the assigned area since January 2017.
