Accra, Ghana will host the Ports and Intermodal West Africa Conference on 17-19 July 2017
The Ports and Intermodal West Africa Conference is taking place in Accra, Ghana, from 17-19 July 2017. The organizers say that major stakeholders in the maritime and transport industry from West Africa including transport authorities, contractors, consultants, solutions providers and more will discuss their biggest challenges and debate best-practice methodologies for financing, constructing and operating these important assets.
The Conference will address pressing issues including infrastructure development plans to improve operations and logistic efficiencies, ways to increase port capacity to enhance terminal operations, collaboration between coastal and landlocked countries, expansion and development of an intermodal transport network to support and optimise the development of a holistic transport and trade network.
The event will be attended by Transport Ministries, Port Authorities, Port Operators, Logistics & Shipping Companies, Road Authorities, Rail Authorities, Corridor Groups, Consultants and Contractors, Development Banks, Solution Providers.
