RF Navy's Black Sea Fleet practiced rescuing a crew of conditionally distressed submarine
Under the leadership of the Chief of Staff Rear Admiral Viktor Liina, The Black Sea Fleet held an exercise on searching and rescuing a distressed submarine, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
The Stary Oskol diesel submarine acted as a distressed one. It got down on the bottom after performing training tasks.
After detecting the ‘distressed’ submarine by the Kommuna rescue vessel, AS-28 search-and-rescue vehicle docked with the submarine.
