Within the framework of the summer planned training of the BF’s emergency rescue forces, a complex drill of search-and-rescue forces was conducted at sea, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
The duty forces of the BF’s emergency rescue unit were raised by alarm and tasked to render assistance to a symbolically distressed fired vessel and tow her to the base.
The vessel took a rescue team, which helped the crew in the fight against fire, water and sealing holes. In accordance with the exercise plan, the fleet rescuers also worked out the organisation of the first aid to the imaginary injured and towed the emergency vessel with the help of the rescue tug SB-123 to the point of basing.
