CMA CGM has announced the Overweight Surcharge (OWS) implementation on Italian ports to Eastbound trades as follows:
Effective July 1st, 2017 (B/L date) until further notice :
From Genova/La Spezia/Venezia/Trieste/Trapani and Catania
To all Asian, Gulf, Red Sea and India base ports
Dry cargo 20ST / SOC (not for FR/OT/RF and all specials)
USD 100 per unit - Applicable only to 18 tons & above payload/20'
Surcharge will be updated upon vessel departure enabling double check with VGM correct weight.
