Murmansk Region and Gazprom Geologorazvedka sign agreement on social and economic development

During their visit to semi-submersible drilling rig Nanhai VIII, Murmansk region Governor Marina Kovtun and Director General of Gazprom Geologorazvedka Aleksandr Davydov signed an agreement on social and economic development, says press center of the regional government.

Semi-submersible drilling rig Nanhai VIII was delivered by a special vessel to the port of Murmansk for further transportation to the Leningradskoye field in the south-western part of the Kara Sea.

The Governor was told about the company’s tasks in the region during the navigation period, about the equipment and facilities to be involved for the geological exploration.
