Digital Ship says it is returning to the shores of Singapore in October to host the 11th Annual Maritime CIO Forum Singapore where we will look at issues in digital transformation and innovation in shipping.
This year, owing to the strategic location of Singapore, an additional emphasis will be placed on the digital supply chain and logistics market, and integration with maritime transportation.
With an expected audience of up to 180 of the most senior maritime executives, the event organizers invite to join the debate, meet with industry professionals and keep up with the latest trends, ideas and innovations for your business.
Through four key sessions and interactive panel discussions, the event participants will ask how the industry is responding to change and investigate what technology and digital transformation can do in this respect.
Session 1: The Maritime Satcom Summit
Investigating the evolution of maritime mobility and connectivity
Session 2: Special Focus Session – Blockchain and its impact on the Maritime Industry
Addressing the long-term advantages and opportunities
Session 3: Redefining Digitisation in Maritime
A focussed session on the top Big Data trends shaping the maritime industry, assessing the supply chain as a whole and where the adoption of Big Data will have the greatest impact

Discuss your top challenges in small groups, brainstorm cutting-edge issues currently impacting the industry and work together to develop long term solutions
The event will include an interactive Workshop hosted by Marlink, networking opportunities and a Post-Conference Reception on 4 October
