Baltic Sea Towing Agency charters ASD Tug MOSCHNY from PORT FLEET
Port of Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region based towage specialist Baltic Sea Towing Agency LLC (BSTA) has entered a time charter agreement with PORT FLEET for the ASD Tug MOSCHNY, the Company said in a press release.
Konstantin Protsko, Deputy CEO, Fleet Operations, BSTA comments: "The state-of-the-art tug "MOSCHNY" with enhanced maneuverability will operate at the Port of Ust-Luga, providing towing and mooring services, including operations in severe ice conditions".
The DAMEN ASD Tug 2509-series vessel MOSCHNY was built at DAMEN Shipyards Gdynia S.A., Poland.

Currently, BSTA operates a fleet of seven tugboats.
Baltic Sea Towing Agency LLC (BSTA) owns and operates a fleet of tugboats and engineering ships. BSTA operates in major Russian ports in the Gulf of Finland waters. The company's fleet comprises modern ice-class 5200hp ASD tractor tugs with FF capabilities. The tugs are able to escort large-tonnage dry bulk carriers and oil tankers. The fleet also includes small tugs and technical fleet to support underwater engineering, dredging, hydrographic and hydro engineering operations. All ships are equipped to carry out emergency preparedness to respond to oil spills or fire accidents.
