Vyborg Shipyard posts net profit of RUB 9.57 mln in HI’17

Leningrad Region, Russia based Vyborg Shipyard, part of United Shipbuilding Corporation, says its net profit in the first half of 2017 totaled RUB 9.570 mln against the loss of RUB 571,149 a year ago.

The company’s revenue grew from RUB 734,915 to RUB 4,167,675.

The profit on sales totaled RUB 327,683 against the loss of RUB 687,341.

Vyborg Shipyard PJSC (part of state-owned United Shipbuilding Corporation from 2012) is one of the largest shipbuilding companies of the North-Western Region of Russia. From the date of its foundation in 1948 the Shipyard has built 210 different vessels, 9 offshore drilling rigs and 105 topside modules for fixed offshore platforms with total displacement of over 1,550,000 t.
