Dmitry Medvedev signed amendments into regulations on delivery of caught and processed aquatic bioresources (document)
The Decree dated 17 August 2017 (No 974) signed by RF Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev requires all aquatic bioresources caught by Russian fishing ships in the Barents, Baltic and Black Seas beyond internal sea waters, territorial sea, exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of the Russian Federation, as well as in the Azov Sea, and fish products made of it should be delivered to the territory of Russia, says official website of the Russian Government.
The norms set forth by the document come into effect on 1 January 2019.
Government Deсree dated 30 June 2008 (No 486) is declared void. According to it, aquatic bioresources caught in the mentioned seas were to be delivered to the territory of Russia or Russian processing facilities located outside the Russian Federation and determined by Russia’s Ministry of Agriculture.
