Perekop training ship completed business stopover in Lisbon port

The Perekop training ship has moored in the Lisbon port, Portugal, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.

The ship left Sevastopol on August 22 and made business stopovers in Piraeus and Valletta ports during the cruise. 290 fifth-year cadets of the St. Petersburg Naval Institute are having Curricular Practical Training.

The business stopover includes official visits of the head of the Naval Institute Rear Admiral Vladimir Sokolov and ship commander       captain II rank Vladimir Cherokov with the local authorities and the Lisbon port administration.

During the visit, the Perekop crew will replenish the supplies and sail off to return to the permanent base in Kronstadt.
