General Dynamics NASSCO named ‘Greenest Shipyard of the Year’

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) represents the next major innovation in ship propulsion. This week at the Green Shipping USA Summit General Dynamics NASSCO provided insight for how its designed and constructed the world’s first containerships to be powered by LNG, the company said in its press release.

General Dynamics NASSCO also took home the award for Greenest Shipyard of the Year.
