Russian Railways says that loading of Russia’s export cargo bound for domestic ports grew by 6.3%, year-on-year, to 266.8 mln t in the 11-month period of 2017.
In particular, coal loading grew by 10.5%, fertilizers - by 10.6%, grain – by 55.2%, paper – by 7%, timber – by 5%.
Coal accounts for 47% of exports, oil – for 27%, ferrous metal – for 8%, fertilizers – for 7%, grain – for 3%.
Loading of export cargo to the ports of the North-West Region totaled 111.9 mln t (+9.3%. year-on-year), to the port of the Southern Region - 69 mln t (+6.5%), to the ports of the Far East Region – 85.5 mln t (+2.8%).
