Russian Railways says that loading of Russia’s export cargo bound for domestic ports grew by 6.4%, year-on-year, to 293.4 mln t in the 2017.
In particular, coal loading grew by 10.6%, fertilizers - by 11.8%, grain – by 52.8%, paper – by 7.2%, timber – by 7.2%.
Coal accounts for 47% of exports, oil – for 27%, ferrous metal – for 9%, fertilizers – for 7%, grain – for 3%.
Loading of export cargo to the ports of the North-West Region totaled 123.8 mln t (+10.1%, year-on-year), to the port of the Southern Region - 75.9 mln t (+6%), to the ports of the Far East Region – 93.3 mln t (+2.6%).
