In 2017, Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC (MRC, a company of UCL Holding) won the competition of the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot) as the “Industry Leader” in the “Marine Stevedoring Company” nomination, MRC says in a press release.
The honourary award was given to MRC for its high performance: in 2017, the company increased its cargo turnover by 23%, year-on-year, to 5.5 million tonnes. That growth dynamics was possible due to systemic efforts of the company focused on capacity expansion, infrastructure upgrading and retrofit. Last year saw a four-fold increase of MRC allocations for its development programme, to RUB 161.9 million.

The official ceremony of awarding the winners of the “Industry Leader” competition will be held on 27 March 2018 in Moscow, at the final extended meeting of the Board and the Public Council of Rosmorrechflot.

The main cargo is export power coal. In 2017, MRC LLC handled 5.5 mln t of cargo, up 23%, year-on-year.
