At the Via Marseille Fos (VMF) association board meeting held on Thursday 29 March, Hervé Balladur founder of the transit company HBI and former president of the Union Maritime et Fluviale de Marseille-Fos (UMF) handed over the VMF chairmanship to Stéphan Snijders, the company said in its press release.
Tributes were paid to Hervé Balladur by Christine Cabau Woehrel, Chair of the Port of Marseille Fos Executive Board, Jean-Luc Chauvin, President of CCI Marseille Provence and Jean-Philippe Salducci, President of the Union Maritime et Fluviale de Marseille-Fos.
Hervé Balladur had chaired the promotion association since 2012 and over the years worked to promote the Marseille port area beyond its borders.
