Mr. Ilari Kallio (MSc, eMBA) has been appointed Chief Digital Officer at Konecranes. He starts in his new position on June 18, 2018 and reports to Mr. Juha Pankakoski, Executive Vice President, Technologies, the company said in its press release.
Kallio joins Konecranes from Wärtsilä, where he has been recently working as Director, Digitalization, for one of the marine business units. Kallio has experience from leading large technology functions, developing new digital business models and building innovation ecosystems. He has also participated in driving the Finnish industry forward in many innovation hubs, like DIMECC Oy and Click Innovation Oy as a chairman and board member. Kallio was selected Chief Technology Officer 2016 in Finland.
