The technical dialogue, run along with the business representatives, is an opportunity to develop solutions relating to extension program to be applied to the President Lech Kaczyński Terminal, that would allow for conducting this process in line with assumptions we have made. In 2018, we plan to carry out the most essential tenders – said Paweł Jakubowski , CEO of Polskie LNG throughout the meeting held in Świnoujście, on April 11-12, 2018.
According to the press center of Polskie LNG, Mr. Jakubowski emphasized the meaning of this type of meetings.
- They give the ordering party a chance to learn on the latest solutions offered within the market. Moreover, they enable to establish relations, that might be considerable for future cooperation – he underlined.
According to Mr. Jakubowski, the Extension Program for LNG Terminal is a response to the messages sent from the market.
- We listen to them carefully, analyze global trends and development opportunities – he added.
He remarked that the Program consisted of 4 projects: increasing the terminal’s regasificaiton capacity through setting up of new SCV vaporizers, building the second quay, constructing the third LNG storage tanks and establishing the transshipment LNG installation for railroad tank cars and ISO containers.
The meeting in Świnoujście was attended by representative of organizations operating under EPC formula (engineering, procurement, construction). In the opinion of Mr. Jakubowski, this kind of works are advantageous since the order is performed on an end-to-end basis, covering preparation of the investment plan, design and implementation of construction works.
- We do hope that consulting with potential contractors let us draw up the tender package that would meet our demands and works could be done in a far more efficient manner –he highlighted in his closing words.
