Russia lowers oil export duty from Feb 1
Russia has lowered its export duty on oil and petroleum products from February 1, 2007, the government's press service said in a statement according to Interfax.
Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov signed the corresponding resolution on January 17.
The export duty on oil has fallen from $180.7 per tonne to $179.7 per tonne.
The export duty on light and middle distillates, gas oil, benzene, toluene, xylene, propane, butane, ethylene, propylene, butylenes and butadiene and miscellaneous liquefied gasses amounts to $133.4 per tonne. This duty was at $134 per tonne for the past two months.
The export duty on liquid fuel, lubricating oils and processed oil products (TN VED 2710910000-2710990000) has fallen from $72.2 to $71.8 per tonne.
