Bunker sales at port Vladivostok in Jan-May’2018 grew by 72% to 463,900 tonnes
In January-May 2018, total sales of bunker fuel at the port of Vladivostok and its offshore terminals amounted to some 463,900 tonnes, up 72%, year-on-year (vs 270,300 tonnes), Administration of Seaports of Primorsky Territory and Eastern Arctic told IAA PortNews.
About one third of this volume was sold at the offshore terminals (eastern, western and internal), with the rest sold at the port. In April, sales via offshore terminals surged and made one third of total bunker sales.
In the reporting period, sales of heavy fuel oil totaled about 414,600 tonnes, fuel containing material – about 35,400 tonnes with diesel fuel accounting for the rest of the volume.
The number of bunkering operations increased from 1,305 to 1,460.
