Cargo traffic at the Port of Vysotsk in the seven month period (January-July) 2018 totaled 10,455,700 tonnes, which slightly more (+1%) than in the same period last year, the Baltic Sea Ports Authority.
Oil product exports decreased by 4% on 7M 2017 and reached 6,178,600 tonnes, while coal and coke shipments rose 5% to 4,277,100 tonnes.
Port of Vysotsk is located in the Leningrad region of Russia. There are two stevedoring company operating at the port: Port Vysotsky OOO and RPK-Vysotsk-LUKOIL-II OOO. In May 2012, the Russian government decided to expand the Vysotsk port territory, including within its boundaries the land and adjacent basin designated for facilities of a Break Bulk Terminal now under construction with capacity of 3 million tonnes a year.
