Perekop, Baltic Fleet's training ship completed visit to Cypriot port and headed for the Baltic Sea, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
During the business call of the Russian training ship to Limassol, sailors replenished the necessary ship stocks, Russian sailors and cadets of naval institutes from Kaliningrad and Sevastopol visited the shore. Also, a scheduled check of the training ship facilities and mechanisms was carried out.
Currently, the ship went to the Mediterranean sea and headed for the port of Baltiysk in the Kaliningrad region.
Perekop Baltic Fleet training ship practices the tasks of a training trip with 300 cadets and teachers of the Black Sea Higher Naval School named after Nakhimov on board.
On October 18, Perekop training ship left Sevastopol Bay and went on a long-distance cruise around Europe to the Baltic Sea.
