Hamburg Süd receives prestigious Global Freight Award

Hamburg Süd reports that for its commitment in the field of sustainable shipping and reducing emissions the shipping company has received the Global Freight Award 2018 in the category Environment. The award is granted by the British specialist publisher Lloyds Loading List. The decisive factor for the independent jury to present the award to Hamburg Süd was a project to reduce sulphur dioxide emissions in ports, which Hamburg Süd implemented together with its customer Electrolux.

Dr. Arnt Vespermann, Chief Executive Officer Hamburg Süd says: "We are very pleased with this award.
