Navigation on inland water ways of Azov-Don Basin partially extended till December 10

Navigation in the Azov-Don Basin between Aksay and Bagayevskaya will be extended on a commercial basis till December 10, 2018, regional correspondent of IAA PortNews cites Sergey Gaidayev, head of Azov-Don Basin Administration, as saying at the meeting on preparations for icebreaking assistance in Russian seaports of the Azov Sea held in Rostov-on-Don.

According to him, several companies asked the Administration for the extension. Taking into consideration low ice formation the Administration asked the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency to approve the extension of the navigation period in the mentioned part of inland water ways. 

The navigation will be extended on a commercial basis upon request of ship owners.
