FESCO transported 24,000 tonnes to Chukotka under northern delivery of cargoes-2018

FESCO Transportation Group says it completed transportation of cargo for Chukotka Autonomous Okrug during the northern delivery-2018 and delivered 24 000 tons of national economic goods to the region.

FESCO transport vessels carried 1 546 TEUs (total weight 24 100 tons) to the ports of Chukotka on container shipping service “FESCO Anadyr Direct Line” (FADL). The container ship “Kapitan Krems” and the dry cargo vessels “Ussuri”, “FESCO Posyet”, “FESCO Primorye” have made six voyages on the route Vladivostok-Anadyr-Egvekinot-Vladivostok since June till November 2018.

This year coastline FADL has been opened a week earlier than last navigation due to favorable ice conditions and urgent shipments of the northern delivery. During navigation-2017 FESCO provided sea transportation of 1 264 TEUs (total weight 16 186 tons) to Chukotka ports.

Meanwhile, FESCO fleet continues to transport cargoes in other northern ports until the end of December.
