Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company (VSC, part of Global Ports) implementing its handling fleet upgrade programme has taken delivery of several new Liebherr RTG cranes, the terminal operator said in a press release.
Five RTG cranes with lifting capacity under the spreader 50 tonnes have been mounted at the terminal offdock container warehouse, Berth No 5-6 and will be commissioned soon.
Specifications of Liebherr RTG crane: lifting height for 18.2 m for 1 over 5, gantry span: 23.6 m for 6 wide + truck lane. Currently, the stevedore operates five IHA RTG cranes (lifting capacity: 30.5 tonnes).
