In January-April 2019, Russian seaports handled 269.25 million tonnes of cargo (+2.4%, year-on-year) including 117.37 million tonnes of dry cargo (-4.4%) and 151.88 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+8.4%), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 34.67 million tonnes (+23.7%) including 9.97 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+9.4%) and 24.71 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+30.7%).
Seaports of the Baltic basin handled 85.06 million tonnes (+4.1%) including 35.84 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+2.5%) and 49.22 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+5.3%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea basin handled 79.25 million tonnes (-10.5%) including 28.74 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (-27.1%) and 50.51 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+2.9%).
Seaports of the Caspian basin handled 2.25 million tonnes (+31.1%) including 0.85 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (-15.6 %) and 1.39 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (up 1.9 times).
Seaports of the Far East basin handled 68.03 million tonnes (+8.1%) including 41.97 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+9.4%) and 26.06 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+5.9%).
