Vympel Design Bureau to tell about ice-resistant platform Severny Polyus at PortNews’ conference as part of NEVA-2019

Sergey Milavin, Deputy General Director for Designing, Chief Designer, Vympel Design Bureau will tell about the design of ice-resistant platform Severny Polyus which is to become a unique facility for scientific research in the Arctic.

According to the design bureau, the project is unique in global shipbuilding. It is able to ensure a new level of comport, sustainability and safety for the Arctic expeditions.

The conference will be held in Saint-Petersburg on September 16, the zero-day of the Neva-2019, the largest industry focused exhibition.
