By the end of 2020, about 90% of customs risks will be detected automatically, IAA PortNews correspondent cites RF Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov as saying at the International Customs Forum in Moscow.
As Vladimir Bulavin, head of the Federal Customs Service, said in his turn, customs procedures in 2020 will be concentrated in 16 e-declaration centers. As of today, there are 12 centers which cover about 65% of all declarations. Almost half of low-risk declarations are issued automatically (about 500,000)
According to Vladimir Bulavin, FCS currently has access to 32 information systems of different state authorities.
“Risk test within our information systems takes 3 sec., while writing off of amounts from personl accounts takes 6.5 sec. The potential of informatization and digitalization accumulated by today lets me state that all tasks set by the Strategy 2030 for creation of ‘smart customs’ … will be completed”, said Vladimir Bulavin.
Integration with information system of foreign customs was mentioned by the head of FCS as the long-term task.
