CMA CGM increases FAK rates from North Europe to Asia

CMA CGM will increase Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates as from December 1st, 2019 (date of loading in the origin ports) until further notice but not beyond December 31st, 2019, the company said in its release.

These new FAK rates will apply as follows:
 Origin Range: From North European base ports (direct on CMA CGM services)
 Destination Range: To China and North & South Asia base ports (direct on CMA CGM services)
 Amounts: USD 850 per 20'ST | USD 950 per 40'ST | USD 950 per 40'HC
 Date of application: From December 1st, 2019 (date of loading in the origin ports) until further notice but not beyond December 31st, 2019

Besides, CMA CGM will apply a Low Sulphur Surcharge as from December 1st, 2019 in the context of the new IMO 2020 regulations. This Low Sulphur Surcharge for North Europe to Asia trade in December 2019 will amount to:
USD 60 per 20'ST | USD 120 per 40'ST | USD 120 per 40'HC
