The training ship Perekop of the Baltic Fleet left the Lankan port of Hambantota and headed for Sevastopol, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
During the stay in the port of Hambantota, the crew replenished supplies of water, fuel, food and made a technical inspection of the ship. In addition, sailors and cadets met with the sailors of Sri Lanka, made a number of excursion trips, got acquainted with the historical sights of the island city.
The training ship of the Baltic Fleet left Kronstadt on a training trip on August 23, during which it traveled to four oceans and navigated the Northern Sea Route, breaking a total of more than 20,000 nautical miles.
