Crude oil futures rise on risks of sanctions toughening

Oil prices rose by 1.04%-1.05%

As of 5 April 2022, 08:33 (UTC+3), Brent Crude futures for May settlement were trading 1.04% higher at $108.65 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe Exchange.

Light Sweet Crude (WTI) futures for May delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by 1.05% to $104.36 a barrel.

Crude oil prices are increasing amid risks of sanctions toughening.
