Throughput of port Shanghai (China) in 7M’2023 rose by 11% YoY

The port’s container throughput rose by 4.1%

In January-July 2023, port Shanghai (China) handled 323 million tonnes of cargo, up 11%, year-on-year. According to the port authority, container throughput rose by 4.1%, year-on-year, to 27,9 million TEUs.

Shanghai is a deep sea and river port of China. In 2022, the port of Shanghai handled 513.7 million tonnes.
