SOCAR and PALMALI sign contract on oil transportation

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and PALMALI group of companies have signed a contract on transportation of SOCAR’s oil from the Turkish Port of Ceyhan. Oil is transported via the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan oil pipeline.

PALMALI announced that the contract was signed for a 10-year term. The signatories were Rovnag Abdullayev, the President of the state Oil Company of Azerbaijan and Mubariz Mansimov, President of the PALMALI group of companies.

PALMАLI is involved in cargo deliveries in the Mediterranean, Caspian and the Black Sea Basin. It is the largest company involved in transportation in the Russian internal waters with a fleet comprising of over 120 owned and leased vessels.

PALMALI mainly specializes in the transportation of oil products (petrol, gasoline, vacuum gasoline, stove fuel and kerosene), crude oil, food and industrial lubricants. The company also has its own dry cargo fleet which is used in the transportation of all types of dry cargo.
