Container turnover of the port of Odessa (Ukraine) up 31.5%% in Jan.-Apr. 07, y-o-y

In January-April 2007, the port of Odessa (Ukraine) handled 144.996 thou TEU (+31.5%%, or +34.756 thou TEU, year-on-year), the port reports according to RZD-Partner. In April, the port handled 41.218 thou TEU (+30.2%, year-on-year).  In April, export of loaded containers amounted to 4.329 thou TEU (+18.9% against previous month), while import decreased by 10%.
