PSA and Hutchison vying for Turkish port

The tender for 49-year operating rights has been delayed several times, but Turkey's privatisation administration said in March it had received offers from four bidders.
PSA International is reported to have made an offer as part of a consortium involving the Turkish company Akfen and Australia's Babcock and Brown.
PSA International has made the bid even though it was recently given operating rights for the Turkish port of Mersin.
Turkish law prohibits possession of two ports by the same company, but sources say the PSA bid might have the backing of Turkey's Finance Ministry.
The other bidders for the Izmir project are Turkey's Celebi Holdings, a consortium including Hong Kong's Hutchison Whampoa and Turkish port operator EIB,  and another group made up of Egyptian owned cement firm Baticim Bati, Turkish construction firm Limak and Turkish port operator Alsancak.
