By 2009, coal terminal Rosterminalugol (the port of Ust-Luga, Leningrad region) will increase its capacity by over 60%, from current 5 million tons to 8 million tons per year, the terminal’s owner reports according to RBC. In future, the capacity of the terminal will be raised to 12 million tons per year. The coal terminal was put into operation in the seaport of Ust-Luga in 2005. Investments into the terminal construction totaled RUR 450 million.
