Latvian railway raises freight rates by 6-8%

From July 1, Latvijas dzelzcels (Latvian railway) will raise freight rates by 6-8%, RZD-Partner reports. In April 2007, the Committee on regulation of social services of Latvia approved raising payment for the use of railway infrastructure by 23% - to $11.3 per kilometer.
