John Fredriksen controlled dry bulk owner/operator Golden Ocean has exercised an option for two 176,000 DWT, capesize dry bulkers newbuildings at Zhoushan Jinaiwan Shipyard in China for delivery in 2010 at approximately USD 145 million en bloc. Golden Ocean has also entered into an agreement with Knightsbridge Tankers to sell two options at Daehan Shipbuilding in Korea for USD 81 million each for delivery in June and September 2008.
