In January-April 2007, container throughput of First Container Terminal (FCT, St. Petersburg) totaled 302,997 TEU (+17.5 %, year-on-year), FCT’s press release reads. In April the terminal handled 83,419 TEU (48,437 units), a 10% growth, year-on-year. Turnover of refrigerated containers totaled 9,135 TEU in April 2007 (-11.2%, year-on-year). Export amounted to 43,307 TEU, import – 40,112 TEU. In April the terminal handled 60 vessels with average turnover per vessel amounting to 1,390 TEU.
