Loading of containers up 20.6% at East-Siberia Railway in Jan.-Apr. 07, y-o-y

In January-April 2007, East-Siberia Railway increased loading of containers by 20.6% to 29.4 thou containers, ESRW’s PR service reports. Over the reported period the railway transported 460.3 thou tons of containerized cargo. Large-capacity containers account for 94% (430 thou tons) of all container transportation. In the four-month period loading of large-capacity containers grew by 32.5%.
