LUKoil Group's hydrocarbon production increased by 7.3 percent to 2.24m barrels of oil equivalent per day in Q1 2007 compared to the same period a year earlier, the company's press office reports according to RBC. The daily average oil output amounted to 2m barrels per day, which is 6.5 percent more than in Q1 2006. The total oil output stood at 24.431m tonnes. LUKoil's subsidiaries produced 23.755m tonnes of crude oil, which is 7.4 percent more than in January-March 2006.
LUKoil Group's gas production went up 14.1 percent to 3.58bn cubic meters. The company reported a 16.6-percent increase in natural gas extraction, which reached 2.54bn cubic meters. The output of the group's refineries in Russia went up 5.5 percent and it decreased at foreign refineries.
