The net profit of Rosneft under US GAAP slid 15 percent to $3.53bn in 2006 compared to $4.16bn in 2005, the company's report states according to RBC. Sales revenue surged 38.7 percent to $33.09bn. EBITDA climbed 3.5 percent to $7.27bn. Capital expenditure soared 78 percent to $3.46bn. Pretax net operation profit climbed 32 percent to $3.88bn. Production costs amounted to $2.83 per barrel of oil and $2.49 per barrel of oil equivalent (up by 13.7 percent and 14.2 percent respectively).
