FESCO multi-purpose vessel Vasiliy Burkhanov has delivered off-dimension and heavy equipment for power industry of India. Vasiliy Burkhanov finished loading operations on April, 7th in port Saint-Petersburg and reached Indian port Tutikorin for unloading on May, 8th. Cargo operations were successfully completed on 14th of May.The vessel delivered special equipment for the construction of large energy plant in India, including special press and shafts of different dimensions, weighing more than one hundred tons each in addition to conventional goods.Loading and safe accommodation of a cargo in holds and on a deck of a vessel represented special complexity. Two floating cranes were brought especially for the loading of heavy equipment, as well as port facilities were inadequate. High qualification of seamen and the management of FESCO Transport Group were proved once again by safe performance of all necessary works during cargo operations in ports and voyage. Despite of adverse weather in some parts of the route, shipping goods at the port of destination accomplished without any worst-state situations and in strict accordance with the schedule.
