Throughput of Ukraine’s commercial seaports up 20.3% in Q1 07, y-o-y

In January-March 2007, commercial seaports of Ukraine handled 29.9 million tons of cargo (+20.3%, year-on-year), press center of Ukraine’s Ministry of Transport and Communication reportsac RBC-Ukraine. The highest growth was demonstrated by Skadovsk CS (2-fold growth), Yalta CS (+95%), Oktyabrsk (+80.3%) and Kherson (+62.2%).  Seaports of Evpatoria, Ust-Danube and Sevastopol decreased their throughput in the first quarter of 2007.
