Nakhodka Commercial Seaport (Far East) opens new shipping line to the port of Brownsville (USA)

New shipping line has connected Nakhodka Commercial Seaport (NCS) with the port of Brownsville (USA), the company’s press release states. The vessels deployed for this line carry 20-ton – 22-ton slabs from West-Siberian metallurgical complex of Euras Group. According to the press release, Nakhodka-Brownsville is not the only line linking NCS with America. From March 2006, transshipment of 29-ton – 32-ton slabs is carried out in the port for export from Nizhnetagilski metallurgical complex (NTMC) via the port of Portland to Evraz Oregon Steel Mills for further processing (NTMC and Evraz Oregon Steel Mills are the companies of Euras Group).
