Throughput of the ports of Estonia up 3% in April 2007

In April of the current year the ports of Estonia handled 4.6 million tons of cargo (+3%, year-on-year, or -6% against March 2007), RZD-Partner reports. Cargo loading increased 2.7% to about 4 million tons over the reported period, while it decreased 9% against March 2007. Unloading totaled 578.6 thou tons (+6%, year-on-year, or +19.4% against March 2007).

In 2006, the ports of Estonia handled 49.8 million tons (+6.6%).
