Finance Ministry posts higher oil output

Russia's production of oil with gas condensate climbed 3.7 percent to 161.4m tonnes in January-April 2007 compared to the same period a year earlier, the press office of the Russian Industry and Energy Ministry reported today according to RBC. Daily oil output dropped to 1.339m tonnes per day in January 2007 against 1.347m tonnes per day in March 2007.

LUKoil, Rosneft, TNK-BP Holding, Surgutneftegas, and Gazprom Neft were Russia's largest oil producers.
