MNP, Palmali and Marine Engineering Bureau present a project for construction of 47 tankers

MNP Group jointly with Palmali Group and Marine Engineering Bureau (Odessa) have presented a project for construction of forty seven 6,010-dwt tankers series RST12, type “Novaya Volgoneft”, press release of MNP Group states. Tanker project RST12 is a self-propelled vessel designed for transportation of oil and oil products. The length of such a tanker is 139.5 m, width – 16.76 m, deadweight (sea/river) – 5,170/6,010 tons. The design of ecologically safe tankers type “Novaya Volgoneft” was worked out by Maritime Engineering Bureau (Odessa, Ukraine), which has an extensive experience in designing of modern river-going vessels (in 2001-2007 it developed 25 new projects of internal and mixed type vessles).MNP Group is engaged in shipbuilding and offshore units design and construction. MNP Group incorporates the leading Russian shipyards: Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard (Nizhniy Novgorod) and Volgograd Shipyard, as well as Sormovskoye Mashinostroeniye (Nizhniy Novgorod), Volgograd special engineering plant, Volgo-Caspian Design Bureau (Nizhniy Novgorod) and Friede & Goldman (USA).

Palmali Group is a company with vast experience in operation and management of tanker fleet in RF. In recent three years the company built 31 vessels at Russian shipyards.
