Fredriksen involved in STS and FSO of Russian oil

John Fredriksen-controlled Sea Production, backed by Frontline, plans to get involved in ship-to-ship (STS) of Russian oil in co-operation with Danish/Norwegian ShipCargo. According to Arve Henriksen in ShipCargo Kirkenes, the company has applied for a license to operate STS services in Bøkfjorden and Korsfjorden outside the town of Kirkenes. In the application, which is confirmed by Sea Production, ShipCargo is looking for a start-up in 2008 and wants a license for 25 years. ShipCargo has talked to a number of Russian oil companies, but refuse to divulge which.
